Week 2 of the season brought some big results and early shifts in the standings.

Statement Wins
Clock Face Labour produced the performance of the night with a dominant 8–1 home victory over Crossbar Hotel, making it two wins from two.
The Bradley also impressed on home turf, taking a solid 8–1 win against Wellington A.
Close Battles
Crossbar X edged a thriller at the Conservative Club, beating Conny Club X 5–4 in a tense finish.
The Jubilee Club fought hard but were beaten 6–3 by Old Crow A, who continue their strong start.
First Points on the Board
Griffin B got off the mark at home with a solid 6–3 victory over Conservative Club.
Griffin C also secured their first points, winning 6–3 away at Perrys Bar.
Griffin A made it a clean sweep for the Griffin sides this week, defeating The Club, Burtonwood away 6–3 .
Early Storylines
Clock Face Labour look like early pacesetters after two convincing wins.
Old Crow A remain unbeaten, while Crossbar X showed grit in their narrow win over Conny Club X.
The Griffin trio all found form this week, turning the tables after a tough opening round.
