League Game 4 Round-Up

Game 4 of the Earlestown Pool League saw more big results, tight battles, and a few statement wins as the table continues to take shape.

Clock Face Labour Keep Rolling

Clock Face Labour continued their unbeaten run in dominant fashion, sweeping aside Griffin B with a convincing 7–2 victory at home. The defending leaders showed their quality once again and remain one of the teams to beat.

Close Contests All Round

At the Conservative Club, Conny Club X edged out Wellington A in a 5–4 win, showing composure under pressure to climb further up the table.

Over at Perrys Bar, the home side picked up their first win of the season, defeating Conservative Club 5–4 in a back-and-forth encounter.

Meanwhile, The Club Burtonwood came agonisingly close to a big upset but were narrowly beaten 5–4 by Crossbar X, who remain firmly among the early frontrunners.

Big Away Wins

Old Crow A travelled to Griffin A and put in a commanding performance, claiming a 7–2 win to stay unbeaten.

The Bradley continued their strong form with a 6–3 home victory over Crossbar Hotel, keeping the pressure on the leaders.

And Griffin C delivered a 6–3 away win against The Jubilee Club, picking up valuable points on the road.

The Story So Far

After four rounds, the top of the table remains tight, with Clock Face Labour, Old Crow A, and Crossbar X leading the way, while The Bradley and Griffin B are keeping them honest just behind.

At the other end, Perrys Bar finally got off the mark with their first win of the campaign — a well-deserved boost after some near misses earlier in the season.
